KEYNOTE PRESENTATION: CREATING
AND SUSTAINING THE INNOVATIVE ORGANIZATION – LEADERS NEEDED
As CEOs turn their attention to growth, many ponder their organization’s
ability to successfully deliver the breakthrough innovations
required to differentiate their business in crowded markets.
In an increasingly complex business environment, leaders are
facing unprecedented change at a dizzying pace. How are executives
planning to achieve growth through product innovation under such
challenging and unpredictable circumstances?
Now more than ever,
executives are called upon to lead the innovative organization.
It’s not that CEOs are just now becoming aware of the importance
of leadership to successful innovation – they have long
been aware of the need to innovate their products, their processes
and their customer’s experiences. But today, it is not
sufficient for executives to be prepared for it personally. They
must equip their entire company to be a catalyst for innovation.
Robert Cooper shares with you the five vectors that drive innovation
in the organization, and the seven habits of successful leaders
of innovative organizations. |

KEYNOTE PRESENTATION: RAISING
THE BAR - NEW BENCHMARKS AND PRACTICES IN PRODUCT INNOVATION
Most executives agree that the new economic environment is
different – more volatile, uncertain and perhaps even more complex.
Tremendous controversy exists in determining which long-held
assumptions should be challenged, which systems should be preserved
and which new practices should be adopted to adjust an organization’s
innovation capability to the ‘new reality’.
In his recent study,
a collaborative effort with the American Productivity and Quality
Center (APQC), Scott Edgett sets out to confirm which practices
truly drive world-class product innovation performance – by today’s
standards. His approach challenges conventional thinking, puts
tried-and-tested back to the test and searches out the new promising
practices. Scott will unveil the key characteristics of today’s
successful product innovation organizations – their approaches,
leadership practices, innovation processes and strategies. He
will also lower the microscope to reveal the most critical elements – those
that have a real and measured impact on results – from idea inception
through to successful launch. |
